Comments / Thoughts / What You Learned / Challenges: Below is how the halloween foods came out (I forgot to take a picture of most of the food items before the clients started eating it, so that’s why some of the pictures don’t look great). It was a lot of fun coming up with ideas for the halloween foods and it was also a lot of fun to prepare them. Seeing the clients enjoy the foods was extremely rewarding.

Myself and the intern from Queens College worked to develop a recipe book for Thanksgiving. We made sure that each recipe contained at least one food item that was offered in pantry and we worked to modify the recipes that included obscure/expensive ingredients so that the clients could easily prepare them in their own homes. We also did our best to include nutrition information (calories, fat, etc.) where we could.
