Comments / Thoughts / What You Learned / Challenges: Since this is the beginning of a new month, I completed my first monthly report. This involved reporting the amount of individual and group services I delivered, and then identifying any areas in which I fell short of my monthly or year-to-date goal, why I fell short, any challenges I faced this month, and finally any accomplishments for the month. Afterwards, I set my own goals for October. Goals include the amount of intakes, reassessments, counseling with supplements, and groups I will aim to conduct.

On Tuesday I accompanied my preceptor to the monthly Food and Nutrition Services Work Group meeting at the department of health. This was a meeting of about 6 program directors from different non-profit FNS service groups that the DOH funds. Topics discussed included different intake questions, challenges with e-share, and lunch/dinner menu options. I thought it was really interesting to hear what other programs are struggling with and what they find works best in their programs.
