Comments / Thoughts / What You Learned / Challenges: I find myself becoming much more comfortable conducting nutrition counseling sessions. Perhaps it is partially because I have developed  a rapport with most of the clients, but regardless the reason, I feel more confident and comfortable in my role.

The halloween planning was especially fun – it is one of my favorite holidays and it challenged me to get creative! Below are the planned items and the ingredients needed for each planned food.

I led my first nutrition group and I think it went extremely well. I was very nervous before it began but once I started the nerves went away, and I really enjoyed it. Thirteen clients participated in the group, and a lot of them said they were going to use what they learned in the group to eat less processed sugar. I had a lot of fun leading the group and I look forward to the next nutrition group I get to lead!
